Juan Fernando Quintero's second-half goal was enough for Colombia to defeat Turkey and move top of the table in Group C of the U20 World Cup.
After a first half of few chances, Pescara's Quintero scored the winning goal in the 51st minute against the host nation.
He shifted the ball onto his favoured left foot on the edge of the area and then rifled a shot into the roof of the net.
Colombia, who drew their first match of the tournament, now sit one point clear of the Turks and El Salvador in Group C.
