Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin has agreed terms on a new two-year contract extension, which will see him remain at Friuli until 2017.
Guidolin was delighted to sign the deal but said that the club's priority must still be to stay in Serie A.
"I'm proud to continue to be the coach responsible for this team," Guidolin told the club's official website. "The renewal represents the completion of the sensational season we had last year.
"Here there are ideas and plans. I don't see myself sitting on another bench in Italy.
"We will start with the usual humility and the same will to get as soon as possible to the 40 points that means safety."
Guidolin has been in charge of Udinese since 2010.
