Ukraine striker Andriy Yarmolenko has admitted that the absence of Wayne Rooney will give his side an advantage in their World Cup qualifier against England.
The striker has been ruled out of Tuesday's match in Kiev after suffering a gash on his forehead while training for Manchester United.
"Rooney is the main threat of the England team's attack, so we have to use his absence," BBC Sport quotes Yarmolenko as saying.
"The English will not be at their full strength on a pitch and this is a great opportunity for us to improve our position in our qualifying group."
Ukraine go into the qualifier one point behind leaders England in Group H.
