Edinson Cavani has insisted that Uruguay do not fear England ahead of the meeting between the two sides at the World Cup this summer.
The Paris Saint-Germain forward believes that Uruguay's mentality means they can be confident heading into games against England and Italy in Group D.
"Nowadays, our national team has a good experience with people that play at the European and world-class level and our team doesn't feel less than any other," Cavani told Goal.com.
"That's why Uruguay are recognised around the world because, with our small population, we have provided so many good players to create a competitive national team that, at the moment, to play against England, Italy or any other national team goes out to win."
Costa Rica will complete Group D in Brazil.
