Luis Suarez has urged Uruguay's supporters to remain calm ahead of their Group D clash with England on Thursday evening.
Uruguay made a disastrous start to their World Cup campaign on Saturday as they slipped to a 3-1 defeat against Costa Rica, but Suarez believes that there is no reason to panic.
"It's been a hard couple of days because of the defeat to Costa Rica," the Liverpool forward revealed on 888poker.com.
"I want to thank you for all the support we received these [last few] days and to tell you to stay calm, we're going to give our best against England.
"And trust us, we're the first who want to move forward."
Suarez missed the defeat to Costa Rica as he continued his recovery from knee surgery.
