Eduardo Vargas believes that Valencia can still make the top four in La Liga this season, despite sitting 13 points off the pace with 15 matches remaining.
The Chilean, who joined the Spanish side on loan from Napoli in the January window, scored on his debut in Saturday's 5-0 win over Real Betis.
"With the good team we have, I see it as being possible for Valencia to reach the Champions League," he told reporters.
"We have our minds focused on La Liga, but you always have the desire to go further than the Europa League places and then reach the Champions League spots."
Valencia return to league action away to Sevilla at the weekend.
