Valencia have confirmed that Paco Alcacer will be out of action for the next two weeks with a knee problem.
The Spanish striker, who recently signed a new long-term deal with Los Che, suffered the injury in Sunday's 2-1 win over Espanyol.
"According to the evidence submitted Monday, Paco Alcacer has a femoro-patellar trauma to his posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. The estimated recovery period is 1-2 weeks, subject to its progress," read a statement on the club's official website.
As a result, Alcacer will definitely miss this weekend's clash with Getafe. Alvaro Negredo is expected to take his spot in the XI.
