Spartak Moscow owner Leonid Fedun has claimed that former Valencia manager Unai Emery will become the Russian club's new coach next season.
The 40-year-old Spaniard is due to replace current boss Valery Karpin at the helm after coming to the end of his contract at the Mestalla.
"We'll have a new coach next season, that will be Unai Emery," said Fedun. "Valery Karpin has built the basis of the team but we need new coaching solutions."
Karpin announced his departure from the Russian outfit last month.
