Valencia are reportedly considering a move for Marseille winger Florian Thauvin as the Spanish side look to bolster their attacking options.
Thauvin, who has scored 78 goals in 235 appearances for the French outfit since his move from Newcastle United, is out of contract with Les Olympiens next summer.
According to Calciomercato, Valencia are keeping a close eye on the 27-year-old, with doubts arising over the future of Ferran Torres, who is said to be a target for Real Madrid.
The report also claims that Marseille are keen to avoid losing Thauvin on a free transfer, and would look to cash in on the France international before his current deal expires.
Thauvin's short-lived time at St James' Park saw him make 16 appearances and score one goal as Newcastle suffered relegation in the 2015-16 season.
The former Newcastle man has been sidelined since last September with an ankle injury, playing only 10 minutes of league football this season.
