Bayer Leverkusen have advanced to the next round of the DFB-Pokal after they beat Regionalliga West side Viktoria Koln.
Julian Brandt put his side in front at the quarter-hour mark as the young German cut inside onto his left foot before he drilled a strike between the legs of the goalkeeper.
Karim Bellarabi made it two soon after, as he combined with Brandt before he made his way into the box to drill the ball home for the away side.
Mexican international Javier Hernandez made it three just before the break. The former Manchester United striker was released in behind the Koln defence and kept his cool as he rounded the goalkeeper before tapping the ball into an empty net.
Hernandez scored a second in the second half with another close-range effort after he connected with a Brandt cross to put his side into a comfortable lead.
It was five soon afterwards as Stefan Kiessling brought down a cross with his chest before he volleyed the ball first time beyond the goalkeeper before he had time to react.
Markus Brzenska was sent off for a second booking late on for the home side before Leverkusen substitute Vladen Yurchenko completed the result with minutes remaining to send his side through to the next round.
