Vitesse have climbed to seventh in the Eredivisie table following a 3-0 thrashing of De Graafschap in Sunday's clash at the GelreDome.
The hosts got off to the perfect start when captain Guram Kashia headed Lewis Baker's cross inside the far post and into the net to give their side the lead.
Midway through the first half Vitesse doubled their lead courtesy of Valeri Qazaishvili, who rifled home following Dominic Solanke's cutback.
The game was then put to bed in the 73rd minute when sloppy defending from the Doetinchem outfit allowed Milot Rashica to nip in, control the ball and slot it past Hidde Jurjus.
De Graafschap, promoted last year from the Dutch second tier, find themselves bottom of the Eredivisie without a point to their name following the result.
