Harry Wilson scored an injury-time winner as Wales Under-21s went top of U21 Euro 2017 qualifying Group 5 with a 2-1 victory over Armenia Under-21s in Bangor this afternoon.
The hosts got off to a good start and were ahead inside 10 minutes as Ellis Harrison scored from the penalty spot after Wesley Burns had been brought down by Nairi Minasyan.
Armenia's equaliser arrived just before the hour mark when Gor Malakyan tucked home from Artem Simonyan's corner.
The goal seemed to inject some life into Wales and they were close to restoring their lead through Wilson and substitute Ryan Hedges, who both failed to beat Anatoli Aivazov.
It looked as if the hosts would have to settle for a point until the first minute of injury time when Crewe Alexandra man Wilson found the net after being set up by Hedges.
Wales move a point clear of Bulgaria and Romania at the top of the group, while Armenia remain bottom with one point from five matches.
