Chris Coleman has called for the referee in charge of Wales's Euro 2016 qualifier with Bosnia-Herzegovina to make strong decisions.
The national manager believes that the officials did not protect the likes of Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey when the Welsh side opened their campaign against Andorra last month.
Coleman told Wales Online: "We don't ask for anything special but what we do need is for the officials to be stronger than they were in Andorra.
"Some of the challenges on our lads out there were straight red cards in any other game or at any level. The referee never even blew for some of them.
"If any of our players are going to receive special treatment then the referee has to step in, it's as simple as that. We know what we're up against."
Wales host Bosnia on Friday, before taking on Cyprus three days later.
