Wales manager Chris Coleman has insisted that he has never discussed the possibility of Ched Evans returning to international football.
It was confirmed on Tuesday that Evans would begin training with former club Sheffield United as he looks to restart his professional career after being released from prison last month.
The 25-year-old was released having served half of a five-year sentence after he was convicted of rape in April 2012.
"It's not something I have even thought about. I'm only thinking about the game coming up," Coleman told reporters.
"I saw what Nigel Clough had to say and he was right in what he said. It will be decided by the powers that be.
"Then it's up to Nigel to pick him as a player. I haven't even had a conversation about Ched with anybody. That will be something in the future."
Evans won 13 caps for Wales after making his debut in 2008.
