Finland have struck a dramatic late equaliser to deny Wales a second victory in three matches in this evening's international friendly encounter at the Cardiff City Stadium.
It was the visitors who came closest to opening the scoring in the 15th minute when Teemu Pukki's shot came back off the post with Wayne Hennessey well beaten.
A mishit delivery from Gareth Bale found Sam Ricketts at the near post just before the half-hour mark, but his effort drifted wide of the post.
The teams went in level at the break but the home side drew first blood in the 58th minute, with Hal Robson-Kanu standing the ball up for Andy King to find the net with a fortuitous header.
However, Hennessey came to the rescue to preserve their slender lead by raving a 20-yard effort from Riku Riski just three minutes later.
The Finnish midfielder should have done better after being let in by a mistake from Ben Davies in the 73rd minute, but he could only find the side-netting with a tame effort.
Mixu Paatelainen's side continued to push forward in search of an equalising goal and their pressure was rewarded when Riski was released to poke underneath Hennessey in the second minute of injury time.
