Blackburn Rovers forward Tom Lawrence will make his first start for Wales in his side's international friendly against the Netherlands at Cardiff City Stadium.

Blackburn Rovers forward Tom Lawrence - on loan from Leicester City - has been named to make his first start for Wales in this evening's international friendly with the Netherlands at Cardiff City Stadium.

Nottingham Forest midfielder Jonathan Williams returns to the starting XI in midfield alongside Joe Allen, Joe Ledley and Andy King.

Wales manager Chris Coleman continues with a five-man defence, as James Chester, Ashley Williams and Ben Davies start at centre-back, while Chris Gunter and Neil Taylor are named at wing-back.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey and Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale both miss out through injury.

Netherlands winger Arjen Robben returns to the starting XI this evening following his recovery from a thigh injury. The Bayern Munich man starts alongside Wolfsburg striker Bas Dost in a front two.

Ajax keeper Jasper Cillessen is preferred to Southampton's Maarten Stekelenburg in goal, while Premier League duo Daryl Janmaat and Daley Blind are named in defence.
