Former Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Jason Brown has admitted that he is unlikely to play for Aberdeen again.
The 30-year-old joined the Scottish club from Blackburn in 2011, but has fallen out of favour at the Dons this season.
"Me and the manager don't see eye to eye on a few things. Coming away with Wales is brilliant for me because it's something to aim for. It's a distraction from what's going on," he told the Daily Record.
"I don't let it get me down. I am 30 years of age now and I'll just get on with the job I have to do while I'm there and then we'll see what materialises. My main reason for leaving Blackburn was that I wanted to play first-team football.
"When I first went to Aberdeen I was told that's what I would get. But obviously there's a bigger picture. The supporters have been great to me but ultimately I want to play football. Will I play with Aberdeen again? No. Not now."
Brown is currently on international duty with Wales.
