Watford midfielder Jose Manuel Jurado has said that his side have to continue to beat the teams in the bottom half of the Premier League to secure their survival.
The Hornets have claimed back-to-back wins over Aston Villa and Norwich City to rise to 10th place in the table.
Jurado has insisted that his side have to maintain their impressive form in their clash against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
He told the club's official website: "It will be very important to get three points because like Norwich, they are direct rivals, and especially with the teams that we're going to meet after Sunderland.
"If we get the three points on Saturday then that will be perfect."
Watford travel to face the Black Cats on Saturday.
