Watford manager Quique Flores has hailed his side's "positive mentality" after they beat Newcastle United 2-1 on Saturday.
Odion Ighalo scored twice for the visiting Hornets at St James' Park, and the newly-promoted side held on for the points despite Daryl Janmaat's effort after the hour mark for the Magpies.
Speaking after the game, the Watford manager felt that his side were well worth the victory, and he claimed that his side's positive approach to games was key to the win on Tyneside.
Sanchez Flores told BBC Sport: "We deserved it because we played really well. We have a very positive mentality and we always think we can win games.
"I am really pleased we have so much confidence. We are building a new team but we are playing as if we have played together for a long time."
Watford are currently ninth in the Premier League table.
