Watford manager Roy Hodgson has praised full-back Hassane Kamara.
The 27-year-old made the move from Nice at the start of the January transfer market, and since that point, he has made four appearances in the Premier League, with the new Hornets boss keeping him in the squad since taking over.
Kamara featured against Burnley last weekend, in the 0-0 draw which saw Watford keep their first clean sheet of the season.
"I think he has been excellent. His performances have been exactly what we were hoping to see from him. I have not had much chance as yet to really assess Adam [Masina], Adam's been back a week now from AFCON," Hodgson told the press.
"That is obviously a position where there is plenty of competition between the two of them, but we did not really have the competition for our first game with Adam literally only just returning, so the decision was Hassane and he took the shirt and grabbed hold of it and did extremely well with it."
Watford will be back in action on Saturday when they face Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League.
