Watford manager Gianfranco Zola has admitted that he did not expect his side to lose the first leg of their Championship playoff semi-final against Leicester City.
David Nugent scored with eight minutes to play at the King Power Stadium on Thursday night to give the Foxes a narrow lead heading into the second leg this weekend.
"I honestly didn't expect Leicester to score," Zola told Sky Sports News. "I didn't see it coming because we were in control, but that's the Championship for you.
"We've got to do what we have done many times this season - win. It's going to be tough because this result will give Leicester confidence."
Watford welcome Leicester to Vicarage Road for the return leg on Sunday.
