Watford have secured a 2-0 win against Stevenage in Thursday's pre-season friendly at the Lamex Stadium.
The Hornets began brightly and, after just five minutes played, Odion Ighalo saw his shot hacked off the line by an opposition defender.
Stevenage had an effort of their own two minutes later through Rowan Liburd, but Walter Mazzarri's charges were dominant and Ighalo saw a second shot cleared off the line just before the half-hour mark.
The first half finished goalless and the visitors made widescale changes at the break before taking the lead in the 50th minute through a long-range effort from Etienne Capoue.
Watford continued to pile on the pressure and hit the woodwork twice in the second half through Ighalo and Troy Deeney, before adding a second goal in the 90th minute thanks to a Jerome Sinclair header.
