Watford have reportedly opted against giving head coach Slavisa Jokanovic a new deal this summer, despite the Serbian guiding them to automatic promotion from the Championship.
The 46-year-old was Watford's fourth head coach of the season when he was appointed on a contract until the end of the season in October.
He led the Hornets to second in the table and a return to the top flight after eight years away, but now looks set to depart.
According to Spanish journalist Guillem Balague, Watford are "not making any more steps to renew Jokanovic" and are "looking in the European market" for their next manager.
Former Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin has been linked with the role.
