Cardiff City have reportedly decided to end their interest in Watford forward Troy Deeney.
The newly-promoted Premier League side have made a number of additions ahead of the new campaign, but manager Neil Warnock remains in the hunt for further signings.
The Bluebirds were linked with an approach for Deeney earlier this week, with it being suggested that the Welsh outfit may make a bid of £15m for the 30-year-old.
However, according to Wales Online, Cardiff have quickly moved on to other targets with just nine days of the transfer window remaining.
Deeney has spent the last eight years at Vicarage Road, but the striker has not always been first choice with the Hornets over the past 12 months.
