West Ham United have not made contact with Watford over a January move for Troy Deeney, according to the striker's agent.
It has been reported that the Hammers are lining up a big-money move for Deeney, who was linked with a move to Leicester City in the summer before signing a new contract at Vicarage Road.
However, the 28-year-old's agent has branded the rumours "not true" and insisted that the Englishman is "just concentrating on playing for Watford" and attempting to make the England squad.
"I heard the rumour this morning. It's not true, not even close," Deeney's agent told the Watford Observer. "There's no interest at the moment and Troy is just concentrating on playing for Watford and trying to get in the England squad."
Deeney scored 13 Premier League goals for Watford during the 2015-16 campaign.
