Watford manager Marco Silva has issued a hands-off warning over striker Troy Deeney.
The Hornets boss has dismissed reports linking his captain with a move away from Vicarage Road following the summer arrival of record signing Andre Gray, The Mirror reports.
"Will Troy stay? Of course – he is our player, our captain, he's one player we hope to keep and he's important to us," the newspaper quotes Silva as saying.
"I've spoken with Troy many times during pre-season and I don't have any reason to change our captain."
Watford have spent £30m over the last week, with Brazilian winger Richarlison's arrival coinciding with the £18m capture of Gray from Burnley.
Earlier this summer, Watford rejected a £20m bid from Leicester City for Deeney, who has also been linked with West Bromwich Albion.
