Watford have reportedly made a club-record offer of €60m (£54m) for Paris Saint-Germain winger Goncalo Guedes.
The 21-year-old, who represented Portugal at the 2018 World Cup, scored six times in 38 appearances during a loan spell at Valencia last term.
Guedes is believed to be surplus to requirements at the Parc des Princes and as such looks set to leave PSG for pastures new.
According to Culture PSG, the Hornets have been in contact with the Parisians and tabled the sizeable offer, which would eclipse the £18.3m fee required to sign Andre Gray from Burnley 12 months ago.
Wolverhampton Wanderers and Liverpool have also been linked with the Benfica academy product.
