Watford have reportedly decided to hand a new contract and a pay-rise to midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure.
The 24-year-old has emerged as one of the star performers in the Premier League this season, scoring six goals in 19 starts for the Hornets.
However, the Frenchman's form has not gone unnoticed and according to The Sun, that has led to the Watford hierarchy making a move to extend his stay at Vicarage Road.
Despite still having two and a half years remaining on his existing deal, Doucoure will allegedly be offered terms of £70,000 per week, making him the joint-highest earner at the club.
Watford only paid £5.4m for the player's signature in February 2016, but the former Rennes man will likely command quadruple that in the current market.
