A second-half penalty from David Williams saw Melbourne Heart come from behind to earn a 2-2 draw with 10-man Wellington Phoenix at AAMI Park in the A-League on Sunday.
Williams levelled the game from the spot on 62 minutes following a soft Manny Muscat foul on Harry Kewell.
The result leaves both sides facing a real struggle to qualify for the A-League's end-of-season playoffs.
Roy Krishna gave Wellington an early lead, but Heart grabbed their first equaliser of the night just before the half-hour mark when Mate Dugandzic's driven shot found the net via a significant deflection off teammate Jonatan Germano.
Wellington defender Ben Sigmund was then sent off moments later for picking up two yellow cards in three minutes.
Despite their numerical disadvantage, the visitors regained their lead thanks to a Tyler Boyd strike shortly after half time.
Williams's penalty-kick equaliser proved to be the final goal of the night, but both sides had late chances to win the game.
Wellington goalkeeper Glen Moss produced a good point-blank stop to deny Williams at one end, before Michael Boxall headed wide at the other deep in stoppage time.
