West Bromwich Albion defender Gareth McAuley has admitted that he is bitterly disappointed over his side's FA Cup exit.
The Baggies crashed out of the competition in their third-round replay against Queens Park Rangers at The Hawthorns, as Jay Bothroyd scored the only goal of the game.
McAuley told the club's official website: "We're not happy to go out. We weren't brilliant but I don't think the performance deserved for us to get beaten.
"Rob Green was fantastic in goal for them and conceding from a set piece to lose a game is disappointing because it's something you prepare yourself for beforehand.
"But we've lost a few on the bounce now so we've got to dig deep and the senior guys in the squad have to get everyone together and get everyone positive because we have a very important game on Saturday."
Steve Clarke's side host Aston Villa on Saturday in the Premier League and are currently seventh in the table after playing 22 games this season.
