West Bromwich Albion midfielder Keith Andrews has said that the club want to finish in the top half of the Premier League.
The former Blackburn Rovers man, whose side remain over ten points clear of the drop zone, insists that the Baggies are determined to move as high up the league table as possible to avoid their season 'petering out'.
"We want to keep our standards high," he said. "We can achieve something good this season if we kick on and finish in the top half.
"For us, it is about pride. There are a good bunch of teams between eighth and 15th. We'd like to be at the top end of those teams.
"The gaffer has been drilling into us since the Chelsea game, when we got into a safe position. He is conscious that we don't just let the season peter out."
West Brom are in 14th place in the league ahead of this afternoon's showdown with Newcastle.
