West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has lauded the type of football that West Bromwich Albion play under the management of Tony Pulis.
Despite the beliefs of some that the Pulis brand of football is not easy on the eye, the Croatian believes that the Welshman's approach deserves more credit.
"Tony Pulis gets criticised for his brand of football, but he does not hide it like others," Bilic told reporters ahead of the Hammers' home clash with the Baggies on Sunday.
"There are a lot of clubs playing exactly the same way in many parts of the game. In England, they all sit back when opponents have a direct attacking style.
"He is a great coach and a very honest man. He uses what he has to to achieve reasonable objectives. When critics put a label on you, it sticks - even if your teams are not like that week in, week out."
Bilic stated this week that he expects his team to bounce back against West Brom after their 4-1 away defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
