West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke has praised his squad for their efforts during the Premier League season.
The Baggies ended the campaign in eighth place on Sunday when they drew 5-5 with champions Manchester United at The Hawthorns.
"I'm pleased," Clarke told Sky Sports News. "We've got a great bunch of players and they've given me everything they've got.
"We got off to a really quick start and the second half of the season has been more difficult.
"We've finished in the top eight and we've never been out of the top half of the league."
Clarke joined West Brom in the summer to take charge of a side for the first time in his coaching career.
