West Bromwich Albion captain Darren Fletcher has admitted that he is "disappointed" by his team's display against Southampton at the weekend.
The Baggies were unable to find the back of the net at The Hawthorns, but they did not concede either as the game finished in a goalless draw.
"You're always disappointed to draw at home but we didn't create enough chances really," Fletcher told the club's official website. "We had a couple of good chances but not enough.
"Southampton are a good team who keep the ball very well, and on a really hot day the tempo was slow and they kept it very well. We eliminated them. It was a disappointing game all round but it's a decent point because they're a good side."
West Brom have recorded just one victory out of five games in the Premier League this season.
