West Bromwich Albion defender Craig Dawson has praised the "unbelievable" impact that manager Alan Irvine has had since taking over at the club.
The Baggies made a slow start to their Premier League campaign, although two victories on the bounce have seen them climb up to 10th place in the early standings.
"The gaffer has been unbelievable since he came in," Dawson told the Birmingham Mail. "He goes through all the videos with me and his staff. Rob, Keith and Dean have also put in the time and have been working hard on the field to try to improve my game.
"It's good for them to say 'You've done well here but this bit here needs improving on'. It's nice to have that feedback because the only way you will learn is from your mistakes.
"I really respect the gaffer, not just for being true to his word but also for putting the time in."
Dawson yesterday signed a new three-year deal at The Hawthorns.
