West Bromwich Albion keeper Ben Foster believes that new signing Darren Fletcher will be a "perfect fit" at the club.
The Scotland international joined the Baggies on deadline day from Manchester United, ending a 13-year career with the Red Devils.
Foster, who played with Fletcher at Old Trafford, feels that the 31-year-old is a fantastic signing for the club and is an ideal player for their system under Tony Pulis.
He told the club's official website: "It's great for the club - he fits perfectly into the ethos of what we want here. We built our foundations on players like that - hard working, good quality, honest, a player you can rely on. Behind the scenes he will be good lad too.
"I know him well from United. I'm so happy we signed him because of what he will bring but also because you have a good idea of the type of character you are getting. He's a good lad - a perfect fit for Albion. He's somebody we know we can rely on, a good solid citizen."
The Baggies play Burnley in the Premier League clash at Turf Moor on Sunday.
