Keith Downing has been named England Under-20s manager on a permanent basis.
The former West Bromwich Albion coach and caretaker boss had been working as head coach on an interim basis since July.
"We've enjoyed our time together so far and I'm really looking forward to continuing working with the players," he told the Football Association's website.
"We've got a good blend of experience in the squad and the Under-20s set-up is an age group that has only been represented by England for a couple of years now, so it gives the players that have come late into the system that opportunity to experience what it takes to play for their country."
Downing, whose time at The Hawthorns included a spell as England manager Roy Hodgson's right-hand man, will take control of his first Under-20s match as permanent boss on March 27 against Ghana at Doncaster Rovers' Keepmoat Stadium.
