Everton manager Roberto Martinez has applauded his side's performance in their 2-0 win away at West Bromwich Albion this afternoon.
Goals by Kevin Mirallas and Romelu Lukaku were enough to give the Toffees their first Premier League win of the season at The Hawthorns.
Martinez told reporters after the game: "It was pleasing how well we applied ourselves with a focus, concentration and intensity to our defensive play.
"The important aspect is that we didn't give a solid display at the expense of how we play."
Everton currently sit ninth in the Premier League table with five points from four games.
