West Bromwich Albion midfielder James Morrison has insisted that defender Diego Lugano is capable of finding his feet in England during the second half of the season.
Lugano has struggled to adapt to the speed of the Premier League since arriving at The Hawthorns, and despite a poor showing against Aston Villa last week, teammate Morrison has backed the Uruguay captain to improve in the coming weeks.
The 27-year-old told the Birmingham Mail: "He is an experienced player and we have supported him. Given his experience, it won't be the first bad game that he's ever had so he will know how to bounce back.
"He is a captain, a leader, he talks in the dressing room. We need him to bounce back and I am sure Diego will try to do that when he plays."
The 33-year-old has featured just seven times in the Premier League this season.
