West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis has said that he expects Rickie Lambert to ease the goalscoring pressure on Saido Berahino this season.
The Baggies signed the 33-year-old from Liverpool a few weeks ago, and Pulis hopes that he and Berahino develop a good partnership in attack.
Pulis said at a press conference: "Last year we relied a lot on Saido's goals. Rickie has a really good goalscoring record and we are hoping he will add to what Saido did last year.
"He will give us another threat. Rickie is a senior player and good character as well. I think Saido will learn a lot off him."
Lambert is expected to make his debut against Manchester City later tonight.
