West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis has hailed his side's 1-0 win over Burnley, in particular the players' fitness levels.
Hal Robson-Kanu struck the winner for the Baggies in the 71st minute but was then sent off with seven minutes left of the game, plus stoppage time, for an elbow on Matthew Lowton.
The result means that West Brom sit second in the Premier League table with two wins out of two, following their 1-0 victory over Bournemouth last week.
Pulis told reporters after Saturday's game at Turf Moor: "It is a great start for us, especially with two clean sheets.
"I've not looked at [Robson-Kanu's red card]. I don't want to say things that will get me in trouble so I've not looked at it. The decision stands.
"I am so pleased we got through that final 15 minutes with 10 men. There is good spirit in the dressing room and we needed that today. Our fitness levels were fantastic."
The Baggies are at Accrington Stanley on Tuesday in the EFL Cup before they host Stoke City next Sunday.
