West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis has claimed that Darren Fletcher has all the attributes needed to become a successful manager.
Fletcher has quickly become an integral part of the Baggies side since joining from Manchester United in January, and Pulis believes that his captain can go on to enjoy a long coaching career.
"I have signed a couple of players from United who have played under Sir Alex Ferguson and they have been stamped with his mark and shared the same attributes," the Baggies boss told reporters.
"Sir Alex was very complimentary about Darren. He is a strong character, resilient and forthright.
"There are lots of players who don't have to go into coaching because they have the money, but hopefully Darren will go into coaching one day because he has the right genes to be a good manager."
Fletcher returns to his former club when West Brom meet United on Saturday.
