West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis has revealed that Saido Berahino is in contention to play this weekend against Southampton after ironing out his issues with the club.
The striker had claimed that he would not play for the club under chairman Jeremy Peace after West Brom turned down four bids from Tottenham Hotspur during the recent transfer window.
The international break has given the two parties time to sort out their problems, and Pulis confirmed at his pre-match press conference this morning that Berahino could feature against the Saints. He did, however, criticise the forward's handling of Spurs' interest.
"The problem Saido has is in the way he's gone around it," Pulis told reporters. "He's not shown the respect to people around this club that he should have."
Berahino started West Brom's first two matches of the season, but sat out the last two league games against Chelsea and Stoke City.
