West Bromwich Albion will continue talks with Tim Sherwood over their vacant managerial post this weekend.
The former Tottenham Hotspur boss, who was fired by the North London club at the end of last season, met with the Baggies earlier this week and reportedly agreed personal terms with the team, but is thought to have held up the deal over his preferred assistants.
According to PA, Sherwood remains the club's leading candidate for the role, but at least one other person is still being considered.
West Brom parted company with Pepe Mel at the end of the season after narrowly avoiding relegation from the Premier League.
