West Bromwich Albion striker Matej Vydra has revealed that he is keen to establish a partnership up front with Victor Anichebe.
Anichebe set up Vydra for the Baggies' equaliser on Saturday as they earned a 1-1 draw with fellow strugglers Fulham in the Premier League.
The Czech now hopes that manager Pepe Mel continues to pair him with Anichebe in attack as the team try to climb up the table.
"If me and Victor play together, that is better for me because he is strong and I am quick," Vydra told the club's official website.
"It is good for me but it's the coach's call. For me it is always better if I play with a strong striker."
West Brom return to action on March 8 when they welcome Manchester United to The Hawthorns in the Premier League.
