Loanee West Bromwich Albion striker Matej Vydra found the net on his return from a hamstring injury for the club's development side last night.
The Czech Republic international has been out of action since a Capital One Cup tie against Newport County at the end of August.
However, he stepped up his recovery last night by scoring West Brom's first goal in their 4-3 win over their Reading counterparts.
George Thorne, who has been sidelined for a number of months because of a cruciate ligament injury, also featured and played the entire 90 minutes, while Vydra was replaced after an hour.
