West Bromwich Albion pair Gareth McAuley and Ben Foster have insisted that Peter Odemwingie has not been snubbed by the team.
Recent reports had claimed that the Nigerian forward got into a war of words with teammate Steven Reid following his attempt to sign for Queens Park Rangers on deadline day without permission from the Baggies.
"It's fine," the Express & Star quotes McAuley as saying. "The lads realise that if Pete is on the pitch, playing well and scoring goals, everyone benefits from it.
"That's how we're looking at it. Everything is fine now. The line has been drawn and now we're back talking about football."
Foster added: "[Odemwingie's transfer request] was an unfortunate incident but we've just got to carry on. Peter is an important part of our team. When he's on form he's an absolute world-beater, so we will welcome him back into the squad with no qualms whatsoever."
Odemwingie has been absent from West Brom's last two match squads in the Premier League.
