West Bromwich Albion face a battle to retain the services of Youssouf Mulumbu after his agent admitted that the midfielder has aspirations of playing European football.
The 27-year-old continued to be a model of consistency in a Baggies team which last season finished only one place above the Premier League relegation zone.
According to a report, several teams in England, as well as Germany and Italy, are interested in signing the DR Congo international, and his agent Doug Pingisi has confessed that Mulumbu may be looking to leave Albion this summer to test himself at a bigger club.
"Youssouf has completed a good, consistent season despite the difficulties West Brom encountered," Pingisi told Sky Sports News.
"He's demonstrated that he's gone up a level and has matured all round. He's now aspiring to test himself in European competitions."
Mulumbu, who was linked with Arsenal in the January transfer window, has made 184 appearances for West Brom since signing from Paris Saint-Germain for £175,000, after an initial loan spell.
