West Bromwich Albion boss Darren Moore is reportedly interested in extending James Morrison's contract at the club, provided that the midfielder can prove his fitness.
Morrison, whose contract at The Hawthorns expires next month, made just four Premier League appearances last season after suffering an Achilles injury.
According to the Express & Star, Moore is an admirer of Morrison and believes that the 32-year-old could be a vital part of a promotion push for the Baggies.
Morrison returned to training at the end of last season, but was not considered for first-team duties due to ongoing injury concerns.
Should the midfielder be offered a new deal by Moore, Morrison could receive a pay cut on his current £60,000 per week deal, which was signed two years ago.
