West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis has held talks with chairman Jeremy Peace about the potential signing of striker Demba Ba, according to reports.
The Besiktas striker has been heavily linked with a move to the West Midlands, and the Baggies are reportedly keen to open the bidding in the coming days.
The Daily Mail claims that Pulis and Peace have discussed a possible £7m move for Ba, who could become their second signing of the summer.
The report claims that Pulis is keen to revamp his squad ahead of the new campaign, with Queens Park Rangers winger Matt Phillips also on his list of targets.
Pulis previously tried to sign Ba when he was in charge of Stoke City, but the move broke down when the Senegalese failed a medical.
